去年九月份，《好莱坞报道》称《恶魔岛》描述的是「历史上最神秘、最臭名昭著的监狱：阿尔卡特拉斯」。几个月之后，《好莱坞报道》对该剧的描述又改成「一群阿尔卡特拉斯监狱的囚犯和狱警50年前神秘失踪并在当代出现，联邦调查局派人追踪他们的下落并调查整个事件的真相」。
上面的剧情描述未提到「时间旅行」，而且Fox也从未公布对演员的要求－－如果Fox要求「演员年轻」（例如20-30岁），那么这部剧集肯定存在「时间旅行」之类的元素。有意思的是，去年十二月份Fox秘密招募Johny Coyne和Jason Butler Harner分别饰演阿尔卡特拉斯监狱的狱长和副狱长。Jason Butler Harner非常年轻－－除非他只出现在回忆情节里，否则「时间旅行」似乎是不可避免的（毕竟有50年的跨度）。
J.J.Abrams在一次访谈中透露，剧情将涉及五十年前的一桩怪事，甚至会提到19世纪（事实上该剧的第一个镜头就发生在19世纪）。他还表示部分镜头会在真正的阿尔卡特拉斯监狱取景，但大多数镜头是布景。
有好事者对阿尔卡特拉斯监狱的历史进行了研究，发现在这座监狱建立之前，阿尔卡特拉斯岛曾经是当地土著居民用来「流放」不受欢迎者的「隔离区」。如此看来，这座岛在建立监狱之前就已经是监狱了。
最近剧组已经开始拍摄该剧的试映集，据称他们邀请很多游客、唐人街的路人和正式演员一起在阿尔卡特拉斯岛的渡口拍了两天。剧组并未要求他们穿50年前的服装，由此可推断相关情节发生在现代（而不是50年前）。
Sarah Jones扮演女主角Rebecca Madsen，新生代「J女郎」。《电视导刊》称这个角色聪明睿智，但有点过分执着.
来自《迷失》的Jorge Garcia扮演Diego Soto博士，嬉皮士，著名的阿尔卡特拉斯专家，Rebecca Madsen的搭档。这是一对非常非常古怪的搭档（嬉皮士胖子+性感的神经质美女）……来自《超能英雄》的Santiago Cabrera扮演Rebecca Madsen的未婚夫，一名警察。最近几年很活跃的Sam Neill扮演一个秘密政府机构的官员Emerson Hauser。Jonny Coyne扮演阿尔卡特拉斯监狱的狱长Edwin James。Jason Butler Harner扮演阿尔卡特拉斯监狱的副狱长E.B. Tiller。可能是反派角色。

    德国搞笑微电《屌丝女士 KnallerFrauen》是德国SAT.1电视台每个星期五晚上11点15分播放的一部喜剧小品。由曾六次获得德国喜剧奖的女演员玛蒂娜·希尔（Martina Hill）扮演“炸弹妞，有时是母亲，有时是单身女性，有时是女朋友，有时是行人或是OL，角色都是现实生活中的各种女性，只不过她们对待人和对事的反应与表现都非常特别。她们为了达到目而采用的荒诞手段，常常令人捧腹大笑。
无厘头是本剧的看点，动作表演及其神经质。6位剧中配角，两个是男性分别扮演女主老公和女主的男朋友。两个是女性扮演好朋友及同事。还有两个常任女主的父母的老人，本剧较重口味，未成年人不建议观看。

◎剧情简介

【简 　介】：
